Whether you’re brand new to Faith Worship Center, you’ve been attending for a while, or you’re simply ready to take your next step, Connect Class is a place to learn more about who we are and how you can be part of the Faith Worship family.

Connect Class is our opportunity to sit down together, share our story, and help you discover what it means to belong at Faith Worship Center.

During Connect Class, you’ll discover more about who we are as Faith Worship Center, where we’ve come from, and the heart behind our church.

You’ll learn about our vision and values, what we believe, why we do what we do, and what shapes the way we live out our faith together.

We’ll also talk about what it means to become a member of Faith Worship Center and what you can expect as part of our church family.

You’ll have the opportunity to discover your next step, whether that means getting connected, growing in your relationship with Jesus, serving others, or finding your place within the church. Most importantly, you’ll learn about our mission and how you can join us in reaching people with the hope of Jesus.

We hold Connect Class once a quarter:

Fall Connect Class: September 27, 2026
Winter Connect Class: January 17, 2026
Spring Connect Class: April 18, 2026
Summer Connect Class: August 22, 2026

Although you will not join the church on the night of the Connect Class, we will be giving you information on how to go about that step and what that means.

We know the word “membership” can mean different things to different people. For some, it may bring a sense of belonging and commitment. For others, it may feel intimidating or even come with concerns about expectations and pressure. At Faith Worship Center, we want to make membership simple and clear.

Membership is a public and official way of saying, “I want to be part of this church family and join Faith Worship Center in its mission.” It’s a step of commitment—a way to say that you believe in the vision of this church and want to help carry it forward as we reach people with the hope of Jesus.

Membership is about belonging, participating, and joining the mission. It gives you an opportunity to say, “This is my church, these are my people, and I want to be part of what God is doing here.”

Membership is not a contract. It is not a way for us to control your life. It is not a list of demands, and it is not something you need to be afraid of. We aren’t going to constantly call, pressure, or harass you because you’re a member. We believe commitment should come from a willing heart, not from pressure.

We simply want you to know who we are, what we’re about, and what it means to say yes to being part of Faith Worship Center.
